Beneficiaries of Cash and Direct Bank Account Transfers will not be required to pay any charges. However, Beneficiaries of mobile transfers may be required by their mobile carriers to pay some charges at the point of payout.

For Cash payouts, the money will be held for up to 30 days and will be returned to Sender if the Beneficiary does not show up to collect, or is unavailable. For Bank Account Deposits and Mobile Wallet payouts, this hold does not apply as the funds will be deposited into the relevant accounts once the transaction has been approved.

If funds have not been collected by the Beneficiary one week after the completion of the transfer, an email reminder will be sent to the Sender.  One of our Customer Experience Managers will also contact you by phone.

Both the Remitter and Beneficiary will be notified via sms and email immediately funds are collected.  You can also track status of transfer under ‘My PayAngel Account’ .

In line with Bank of Ghana (BoG) regulations, funds can only be received in Ghana Cedi.
